1. Who is responsible for your data
ProofPost is the controller of personal data described in this policy. Before paid launch, this section will identify the full legal entity and registered business address. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@proofpost.pro.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account and contact details; connected business and social account details; customer reviews and content you choose to process; brand settings; support communications; device, browser, and service usage information; and subscription, invoice, and payment status. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by ProofPost.
3. How and why we use it
We use data to provide and secure the service, connect authorised review sources, generate and schedule content, manage subscriptions, support customers, improve performance, comply with law, and—with consent where required—measure or market the service. Our lawful bases may include performing our contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent.
4. Sharing and service providers
We share only what is necessary with infrastructure, authentication, email, analytics, customer support, payment, and connected-platform providers acting for us. We may also disclose information where law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a properly managed business transaction. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention and international transfers
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including account operation, legal, tax, security, and dispute requirements. Where data is transferred internationally, we use an available lawful safeguard such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive your data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity.
7. Security, children, and changes
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service is risk-free. ProofPost is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We may update this policy and will change the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material.
